September 26-October 2 Challenge for the DT

This weeks challenge was to to find a fun project of there choice something that they have been need to work on, wanted to work on, or just something new they wanted to try.

This was my project for this week I wanted to do something different and saw this and this was what I wanted to make. I will try and post the link if I can find it again lol. It takes a 5x8 note pad and makes a decorative cover for it. Using card stock, 3 shipping tags, ribbon or stretchy cord, and some pattern paper.

 This is the in side of it  think it looks great I love the color :)

The first lady on the DT is Lisa L. you can check out her blog @  Lisa's Creative Niche  for here project she said she wanted to do something a little difference, since she could share any fun project she wanted. Lisa said "So this isn't a paper craft, but I'm so proud and so excited to be making little Maddie's wicked witch costume this year that I had to share part of it with all of you!  I got this idea from a Robert's Crafts video, and I LOVE IT!!!  Sooooo easy and I want to make more in all sorts of colors"!

Her is Tamra's cool project she maid for her niece it is the longest ribbon I have ever seen...lol But it rocks just love it. Her is our next lady of the week Ashley you can check her out at  Made Especially for You she said her inspiration for making the card is a coworker of her's celebrated her golden birthday and she had never made a golden birthday card for any one so that is her whole inspiration for the card it looks great. :)

September 19-25 The DT weekly Challenge

The Challenge for my DT this week is to Create a Altered tea light. They were able to do what ever their little heart wanted to it. I thought of this challenge because I had come along a video on YouTube for one I will post the link. I thought this challenge would be different...

This is mine I was inspired by our first DT member with the Halloween theme and then I also made one that looks like a cute little cake :)

This is Tammy's over at   The Cricut Craft Chamber She did a awesome job I love it. I also love the Halloween theme behind it because next month is Halloween. She made the little black widow on the top and cut the vellum out to let the light from the tea-light shine through.

Our next DT member is Carol she is over at Cardstockscissorsandglue and she made a sweet looking flower with her altered tealight is a huge flower that she made with her Art Philosophy Cartridge and the tea-light is in the middle with some yellow stickles on it

Ashley is our next DT member you can check her out at Made Especially Made for You . Her Tea-light is painted blue with acrylic paint and the she hot glued on some decorative shells around the boarder and then added blue glitter to the top.

Laura is our next DT member you can check her out at Laura's Craft's and More her tea-light It looks like a cute little cake I just adore it with a matching cute little box. 





Lisa is the next on the DT member list and you can follower her creative ways at Lisa's Creative Niche  it is a really neat lantern with Black and Orange swirly s and on the Vellum there is embossing. 

My First DT YEAH

I have started a Design team for the first time YEAH! I have 10 of the greatest ladies on the block they have been so kind and helpful and just bursting with ideas. It is great that there are so many people out there willing to help you do what you love. This was a Challenge from Queen of My Craftroom, the challenge was to make a project of your choice to remember 9-11-01 it has been ten years since this tragic day. I know I will never for get what I was doing that day or were I was. I want to take the time to tank all the people who helped that day and to give my love to all the people who lost someone that day. 

This is just plan blue card stock, with stars, buttons, and a remember this day little card, and some stickles.

My First Award :)

First I want to thank Laura at Laura's crafts & More for giving me my first award ever . Yeah I am so happy. Me and Laura are on the DT at Queen of my Craftroom together :) So with this award come some questions I must answer and then I guess I am to pass the award on to others so lets give this a try......

1) Name your favorite color?

Pink, black, and white. I guess are my main favorit colors but I really like all colors but red is my least favorit.

2) Name your favorite song?

Wow, this one is hard I love so many different types of music I guess right now at the moment it would be a song by Pink called F***king Perfect 

3) Name your favorite dessert?

My Peanut butt balls love them darn things :)

 4) What wizzes you off at the moment?

Stupid people and people who don't keep there word or lie that I hate most of all. 

5) Your favorite pet?

Wow, I can't say because we have 6 dogs, 10 chickens and 2 ferrets I love them all. oh yeah don't for get the two kids and the niece :) lol

 7) Your biggest fear?

Not being here for my family and seeing my kids become adults.

8) Best Feature?

I think this will sound funny but I like my cute feet :) 

9) Everyday attitude?

Good most days :) but the kids may say other things. ha ha

10) What is perfection?

A day with family and friends. Oh and no home work and maybe some crafting time as well.
