Here is my project I couldn't decide what to do and it hit me int he middle of the night. I seen someone altering a candle and that's what I wanted to do I didn't have all the stuff they were use. Well I didn't have anything they were using but a glass candle one of the religious one's you can't get at Walmart or pretty much any where. The Breast Cancer ribbon I drew on a piece of tissue paper with a fine point sharpie. Then I used my Copic black marker to out line it once again. I colored the pink in with the Pink Copic marker RV06. I then Modge Podged it to the Glass Candle Holder. I put one coat behind and two coat's on top. I also added some shimmer just to the Ribbon with Pearlizing medium.
Some of the flowers were made from scratch out of Card stock and acrylic paint/water color paint. Some of the flower used were Prima E line, or Color Me and there were glued and colored with the same water color and acrylic paints.
The green curly Q's were hand made with floral tape and wire then painted with a metallic green acrylic paint. Some of the rhinestones use here are from I-rock and other our Prima E line (they are like a $1.49 for 20 or so). All flower's were either hand made or altered in some way from the original way that I had them.
The little swirl with the rhinestone's was done with the I-rock.
The word hope on this was a bling sticker I bought from scrapbuck.com it came with four words, Hope, Love, Luck, and True. The pink ribbon was bought at Walmart.
Just a close up of the word hope. Something that every one needs.
A spot where I put a lot of flowers the two really pink one's are ones I made from start to finish. I am going to put a close up of them up later. Hope you like it :).
